Product Overview

Telecommunications and Precision measuring equipment require high precision timing (sub micro second unit), in order to acquire valid remote data and process data reliably. Therefore, users relied heavily on GPS for processing precision timing, and recently they are implementing it through Ethernet network.

As a relation between Ethernet networks, IEEE 1588v2 PTP (Precision Time Control) is set as technology to process high precision time synchronization, and correct errors within the network. This technology operates GrandMaster equipment as a main, and synchronizes it to slave module, which is inside a receiver that requires time synchronization.

This product is a PCIe type GrandMaster equipment that provides precision timing and frequency to slave modules that users are equipped with. This product provide dualizing function as a preparation for network instability by supporting Alternate master function, and is equipped with function to transfer GNSS synchronized clock through ESMC (Ethernet Synchronization Messaging Channel) in order to synchronize with SyncE equipment.
